HI, I am looking to buy a Burke Millrite vertical mill and am looking at a model MV1. I've also seen MVN models for sale and wonder what the difference between them is. The quill feed is by a hand wheel, not a lever; I've read somewhere that wheel feed is better for brass and that is 99% of what I work with.

I saw this mill for sale on CL that may fit the bill if it is not too far for you to go. Kenny Millrite/Burke by Powermatic Milling Machine. That is a 1978 model by the first two digits. I had an MVN, it was a year newer, 1979. Was a great little mill that was easy to use and truly was about 2/3 of the sz of the Bridgeport I now have.
