You will have to acquire an assortment of seat stones of different angles and sizes, and custom grind them for specific jobs. Way more to it than I can describe here.

Be careful dressing the stones as it is real easy to knock the diamond out of the nib if you get rough. I don't know how anyone could expect to get and accurately ground valve seat if they don't dress the stone before they start to clean it up and don't dress it somewhere in the middle of doing the seats. That just flat doesn't fly.
