My US Burke Millrite model MVI vertical mill (resembles a Bridgeport, but 2/3 the size) came with a X-Axis power feed, an Asong AS-250. This unit never really worked correctly, and kept on blowing speed control pots out, as discussed in the thread "Repair of an Asong AS-250 X-axis power feed" in January 2010. This is a general problem with Asong.

I am on my second Millrite, a '67 MVN. They are good mills, no bells and whistles, and no silly ideas. They are rigid for their size and weight. Those mills were made with at least four different spindles, R8, B&S 9, NMTB30, and others. There were also a lot of other options.

Its no bridgeport, about 60% the size of one. i beleive the ways were ground and then very lightly flaked to help hold waylube. What specifically do you need to know?
