A note on the drawings; the four 1/4" holes on the base plate that attach it to the top of the mill were hard to dimension as the tapped holes in the mill were not spaced evenly, so be aware that they may have to be filed out to line up. Surely it would do a far better job for milling plastics, wood and aluminum than any homemade spindle or Dremel. Router mounts for CNC machines are readily available on eBay at low prices too. My 2hp fixed base router will glide through wood or even aluminum with 1/4" end mills. My dremel couldn't cut a paper bag with the micro end mills I bought.
